The Cello Festival will not only delight music lovers but it will also offer unique experiences for devoted cinema fans. In collaboration with the cinema club 8½, we invite you to follow the moving story of a talented musician in the film Plastic Symphony. Don’t miss the chance to experience the fusion of music and cinema in this exclusive one-time screening!
The main character in Plastic Symphony (dir. Juraj Lehotsky, 2022), Matuš, is a talented musician who had to abandon his promising career after the death of his stepmother. His half-brother David seizes every opportunity that life offers, leaving Matuš feeling crushed by his unfulfilled ambitions. However, an unexpected encounter with an old school friend Albert brings hope that Matuš’s life might take a turn for the better.
